Aqua codds from Groves & Whitnall are quite uncommon as they mainly opted for the amber glass variations, shown are a few examples of codd bottles, the top picture shows a 10oz & 6oz frontal embossed with the Globe trade mark, the 6oz being the more scarce to find, these were made by Redfern of Barnsley. The Fake Groves Whitnall Arrow In Hand Codd Bottle
The bottle shown in the photo is a fake copy of the arrow in hand Codd bottle, these were exposed in 2009 after one was passed off as genuine, this bottle is now in the safe hands of BBR at Elsecar out of circulation in their "Fakes" cabinet, these were made by means of flow jetting a common amber Globe codd adding the new embossing, the color and embossing are totally wrong compared to the top picture, genuine bottles are only found in the red amber shown in the photo above. so buyer beware of this one.
